Requirements for Students (Note: Incomplete applications will not be reviewed): For Students who are enrolling for academic Credits, seek the advice of your school's study abroad advisor or your academic advisor. The STAR program requires a minimum GPA of 2.5 and should have completed at least one year of college-level course work at the time of application.
- Application form
- A $50 non-refundable application fee
- Essay #1 -Address why you choose to study in Africa and what you expect to Accomplish
- Essay #2 - Elaborate on how a friend would describe you vrs how you would describe yourself
- Approval of Participation Form from your school
- Official transcript(s) from all post-secondary institutions attended
- 2 academic references from professors or your Academic Advisor
After Sending in Application
Once we have received all of the above-mentioned materials, our admissions committee will review your application. You will be notified of admission within two weeks. We will send you an Admission Confirmation Package with supplemental form such as Medical data and Travel documents and insurance. You will be required to complete and return all forms along with a non-refundable deposit of $300 to confirm that you have accepted the Admissions Offer.
